Child ID Session at Wellness Fair Midpointe Library West Chester Saturday August 26, 2023 We will be holding a Child ID session during the Wellness Fair at the Midpointe Library in the Board Room. Volunteers will be greeting families, handing out forms for the child and parent/guardian information to be entered into the software as well as entering the information. We need volunteers currently trained with the software as well as others to direct the families to our location. If time permits, there may be software training on this day. August 1 – Tuesday 6-9pm National Night Out (5 volunteers)
The location is the Fairfield Police Department. 5230 Pleasant Ave. Fairfield, OH 45014
National Night Out enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community. Furthermore, it provides a great opportunity to bring police and neighbors together under positive circumstances. The WCCPAAA is asked to help kids in and out of the Bear, cruiser and other police vehicles and promote the Citizen Academy . Please wear your WCCPAAA shirt & name badge.
August 10-13 Country Music Festival
I would like to know approximately how many WCCPAAA members are interested to work the event. The show runs Thursday 4-11, Friday-Sunday 12-11pm
It’s going to be HOT! We will NOT have access to air conditioning and we will most likely be required to walk delivering supplies to the officers and watching over the police vehicles. We are asked to volunteer and not be a spectator. The shifts will be 2-4 hours. I need to have an idea of the amount of volunteers as soon as possible. August 22 Annual Picnic 6-8pm The Owl Shelter at Keener Park
The WCCPAAA is excited about our annual picnic! The food will be supplied. Please bring your drinks, water will be available. The CPA is supplying the food. Each alumni member can bring one guest.
