It is with a heavy heart that we announce the death of one of our members, Jack Menrath.ย  He was a frequent volunteer for Association events and had recently served as our Sergeant At Arms. He was also the father of our current president, Jackie Patrick, and husband to member Pat Menrath.

John Charles โ€œJackโ€ Menrath died Friday, December 1st, 2023, at Hospice of Cincinnati, Blue Ash, Ohio.

Jack was born April 21st, 1937, as the second child of Evelyn C. and Michael A. Menrath. He was preceded in death by his older sister Violet Oelker and is survived by his wife of 66 years Patsy (Hughes) Menrath; two daughters, Karen Menrath (John Coleman) and Jackie Patrick; two brothers Michael Menrath (Beverly Menrath) and Bill Menrath (Lee Crooks); one sister, Judy Maloney (Lee Beran) and many nieces, nephews, great-, and great-great nieces and nephews.

Jack completed his studies in architecture in 1963 and retired from Baxter, Hodel, Donnelly and Preston (BHDP) in 1998. He was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church, Sharonville, Ohio. Jack was an avid golfer and family man working at Indian Valley Golf Course, Newtown, Ohio, after retirement and golfing regularly with his daughter Jackie.

Visitation will be held at St. Michael Catholic Church, Monday, December 11th, 2023, from 9:00am to 10:00am with a service immediately following at St. Michael. Interment will be at Gate of Heaven Catholic Cemetery, 11000 Montgomery Rd. Cincinnati, Ohio.
