The West Chester Police Department, Fire Department and Citizen Police Academy Alumni Association will be participating at the Hometown Heroes Event this weekend May 26 & 27 at Cabela’s in West Chester. A police officer will be showing a police cruiser and handing out stickers to kids between 1:00 – 3:00 pm. Child ID and Senior ID will be provided by the Citizen Police Academy Alumni Association on Saturday May 26th from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm. Come out and join us.
We need volunteers! Cabela’s is providing two tables and four chairs inside the store so we can set up for Child ID. There will be activities outside as well. Cabela’s will also provide access to power to plug in the equipment.
